Strategische Partnerschaft Radix
Putting Down the Vocational Roots
Auch wenn die Asylantragszahlen in Deutschland seit 2016 kontinuierlich abnehmen (BAMF 10/2020 Aktuelle Zahlen), sehen sich viele geflüchtete Menschen im neuen Land noch immer vor enorme Herausforderungen gestellt, vor allem auch wenn es um die berufliche Perspektive geht. Die sprachlichen Barrieren beim Berufseinstieg sind dabei nicht zu unterschätzen, insbesondere da jeder Beruf sein eigenes Fachvokabular und Ausdrücke enthält. Um den beruflichen Einstieg von geflüchteten jungen Menschen und sozial Benachteiligten zu erleichtern, haben sich die sechs internationalen Partnereinrichtungen aus dem erfolgreichen Compass-Projekt (2017-2019), das von der Nationalen Agentur beim Bundesinstitut für Berufsbildung als ein Projekt guter Praxis zertifiziert wurde (Na-bibb.de / Strategische Partnerschaften/ Good Practice), erneut zusammengefunden. Ging es beim Projekt Compass noch um die Ermöglichung des Erstkontakts zwischen geflüchteten Menschen und lokalen Behörden, wird beim Projekt Radix die Entwicklung einer beruflichen Datenbank zur Berufsvorbereitung und zur Orientierung für junge Menschen mit Fluchthintergrund und sozial benachteiligte Jugendliche angestrebt. Die App wird auf digitalen Apple und Android Endgeräten und als Webseite verfügbar sein und bietet Wortübersetzungen in insgesamt 12 Sprachen an, darunter auch Arabisch, Paschtu, Tigrinisch, Albanisch, Kurdisch und Französisch sowie die sechs nationalen Sprachen der Partner aus Italien, Spanien, Griechenland, Großbritannien, Deutschland und der Türkei. Das vom Erasmus+ Programm der Europäischen Union finanzierte Projekt hat eine Laufzeit von 2 Jahren (2020-2022) und beteiligt sind folgende Einrichtungen:

- RLN (UK) Ltd (Großbritannien, EU-Projektarbeit, spezialisiert auf Entwicklung von Datensystemen)
- Cesie (Italien, NGO Jugendprojektarbeit)
- Alos Idiomas (Spanien, Sprachzentrum)
- Europe for Diversity Culture and Coexistence (Griechenland, Non Profit Organization / Jugendarbeit)
- Kirikkale Aile Calisma ve Sosyal Hizmetler il mudurlugu (Türkei, soziale Dienstleitungen)
Even though the applications for asylum in Germany are decreasing since 2016 (BAMF 10/2020 Figures) the challenges for refugees and migrants are still huge, especially when it comes to the vocational perspective. The linguistic barriers should not be underestimated, particularly since every vocational sector has its own vocabulary and expressions. In order to facilitate the entry into the labour market for refugees and disadvantaged groups the six international partners of the successful Compass project (2017-2019), which has been certified as a project of good practice by the German National Agency, got together again. While in Compass it was about enabling the first contact between migrants and local authorities, in our new project Radix we are aiming to develop a vocational data base for vocational preparation and orientation to be used by migrants and disadvantaged youths. The app will be available on Apple and Android devices and as a website and will offer flexible translation into 12 languages including Arabic, Pashtu, Tygrinya, Albanian, Kurdish, French and the six languages of the partners from Spain, Great Britain, Italy, Greece, Turkey and Germany. The project is funded by the Erasmus+ program by the European Union and has a runtime of two years (2020-2022). The partners are:
